Pulsar Industries
Pulsar Industries was initially established as Voltabox of Texas Inc. in 2014 in Cedar Park, Texas, as a subsidiary of the German battery company Voltabox AG. The projects managed by Voltabox of Texas included batteries for trolley buses, mining vehicles, idle mitigation, battery trailers, and large stationary ESS. After the IPO in 2017 (DB: VBX), during which $155 million was raised, the parent company decided to divest its U.S. manufacturing and automotive business in 2021, following the COVID-19 pandemic that severely impacted the market.
